Award-winning Onefile flies past two million users milestone

More than two million people have used Onefile to manage their apprenticeships, the award-winning ed-tech company revealed today.

UK's leading apprenticeship SaaS supplier hit the historic milestone, 2,044,264 users to be exact, by the end of 2023 in a year that saw it recognised once again for its customer service excellence.

Onefile Managing Director Sue Thexton said: "We're thrilled to hit the two-million mark, and I think it's testament to the huge amount of work undertaken by the team to make sure our customers are delighted with the products and services they receive.

"We retained our Customer Service Excellence accreditation in 2023 with flying colours, with compliance-plus awards for customer insight and organisational culture. We're always listening to our customers and we're on a journey of continual improvement. We reached the two-million milestone in 2023 but we'll not rest on our laurels in 2024."

Onefile customers have praised Onefile for boosting their apprenticeship programmes, and the company's unstinting drive to innovate and elevate the platform.

Capella Associates, led by Operations Director Amrik Gill, transitioned to Onefile from another e-portfolio in 2020 to enhance their apprenticeship program management as they struggled with transparency and progress tracking for over 400 learners across various programs.

Explaining why he chose Onefile, Amrik said: "What we now have, with Onefile, is complete transparency across the whole of our programmes and all of our learners that we've got as part of our apprenticeship programmes.

If you're running apprenticeship programs it's so important that you've got the links directly to the standards and what Onefile allows you to do is take all the assessment guidelines, build them in and then show progression. Also, you can monitor your off-the-job along with your attendance and what are the current outcomes in terms of your progress reviews.

I'd say Onefile to us, is our business, because that's how we're monitoring everything we do."

Speaking after a Onefile conference for customers last summer, Sue Bright, Operations and Quality Manager for Apprenticeships at Exeter College, said: "The main takeaway is the innovation and investment that's been taking place with Onefile. So, its growth, it's not standing still, it's looking at where it goes next and what the future holds. It's quite exciting.

To customers who are interested in Onefile, we'd be happy to share how we use it and what we do, and the impact that Onefile had on our OFSTED inspection 'Outstanding', because it became a one-stop shop for all the evidence that we needed to gather. It's critical to have an e-portfolio so that learners can access their information wherever they need to access it.

If I could sum up Onefile in a sentence it would be that it's our one-stop-shop for apprenticeship quality."
